Like a nomadic artist, I reinvent myself, and discover more about my roots and soul, in each place that I live. Brooklyn is the hub, the Caribbean grooves, the birthplace of Hip Hop, of Jazz, of Funk, and is inserted in the landscape of New York City. Because it contains such a mix of cultures, I call it home. My home is where Africa resides, in its Diaspora, or in her core. I grew up like that, in my native Vale da Amoreira criss cross of Angola, Portugal, Cape Verde, Guiné Bissau… Call it a Luso-Afro-Brazilian mode, or  a Luso-Tropicalista flow, for me what is important is that this mix I’m made of brings you joy, stories to share, and most of all, that my music inspires you in some way.
